On July 8th I shall endeavor to run the 10km course around Leeds.  This is further than I have ever run, but I will not let the road defeat me.  I may well run this race slower than the internet in the 1990's, but I will run!

The money I raise will be donated to St Gemma's Hospice.  St Gema's Hospice is a Leeds-based charity providing expert care and support for local people with terminal illnesses. They offer specialist medical and nursing care to thousands of local people each year and offer invaluable support to their families and friends. Opened in 1978, they are the largest hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in England.
