Wheels for the World, part of the Through the Roof charity, provide wheelchairs and other mobility aids in areas where these things aren't usually available. With a team from the UK, including Physios & Technicians, we'll be in Uganda in April 2013 with a container load of mobility aids.

My job is to make adjustments or repairs to wheelchairs so they better suit the user. It's the first time I've done something like this, but it's been a long held ambition, so I'm glad I now have the chance.

I'm hoping you will join in by donating to Through the Roof. so more of these trips can be made, and that the costs of the Uganda field trip will be met. A refurbished wheelchair cost about £40, so even just a few pounds donated makes a huge difference to the recipients.
