Back the Dragon Divas

The Focus PR team aims to raise £2,300 for The Back-Up Trust, a charity which runs services to help rebuild people's self-confidence, motivation and independence following a spinal cord injury.

On the evening of Thursday 3 September 2009, half the Focus PR team - the Dragon Divas - will take to the waves (well, the Thames), come rain or shine.

We're competing in this year's Dragon Boat Racing to raise money for people who can't race themselves because they've suffered the horror of a spinal cord injury. 

Every day, three Britons suffer a life-changing spinal cord injury. And every day, three people are coming to terms with their injury, and the fact that their lives will never be the same again.  With the support of donations, The Back-Up Trust can help show them that life may not be the same, but it can be good.

Every pound counts.  Please help us fund a wheelchair skills session in a spinal hospital (£25), a water skiing taster day (£200), a Back-Up summer course (£1,500)...
