I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because My nan Rita, has suffered with the disease for over 10 years. she is now 84 and more active then me and you! We have gradually seen her get more forgetful over the years, to the point where she is now being cared for in a home for her own safety. Its terrible to see a family member go through that, and hopefully by doing this challenge i will be helping people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.
It will be a tough challenge but it’s great to know that I will be raising funds to help support the sufferers and their families get the help they need.
