Story
Health workers who serve rural communities in Africa are hampered because of no transport, or unreliable transport. Trying to deliver even basic healthcare such as inoculations, birth control, mosquito-nets or essential medication is an extreme challenge.
Two Wheels for Life raises money to fund transport; train riders, and mechanics, enabling a reliable care service for remote communities in seven sub-Saharan countries. In remote areas, motorcycles are often the only practical means of transport.
The Extreme Compass Points Ride-Out
In 2022 I am going to ride my motorcycle to the four compass points of mainland UK – Lizard Point, Cornwall; Lowestoft, Suffolk; Dunnet Head and Ardnamurchan Point, both in the Highlands of Scotland.
My aim? To raise £2022, all of which goes directly to Two Wheels for Life to fund the valuable work they do with people much less fortunate than ourselves.
I'm budgeting £50/day for fuel, food and accommodation and I’ll be camping along the way to keep costs down. Any money left over at the end of each day will be donated.
