I'm runnning the Cardiff Half in aid of BrAMS a Multiple Sclerosis Centre based at Frenchay Hospital. This centre provides comprehensive MS patient care and is working on various research projects including stem cell research. I have chosen this charity as I have a friend Chezzy with MS whose consultant is one of the  3 specialist MS consultants running this centre. Their website is www.brams.org.uk

MS affects everyone in different ways and to different degrees but there are common factors like loss of sensation, pins and needles, loss of mobility, loss of co-ordination, numbness and pain, optic neuritis (loss or blurred vision), dizziness and balance problems, fatigue, cognitive problems, muscle spasms, bladder problems, ....etc....
