Frank & Catherine are taking part in the H4H European rally, a 1650 mile expedition encompassing 6 countries in 10 days. This non-speed event comprising of 45 teams will be part history tour, part fun competition, part off-road driving, part club-type social, and is open to all types of 4x4 vehicles.

The rally follows the path and tells the story of the Allied Invasion through Europe and includes parts fabled by the Band of Brothers book and television series (Since we weren't there... we thought Band of t'Others was more fitting!).

H4H was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young men who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help.

The charity was launched in October 2007 and, with the backing and support of The Royal Family, countless ordinary decent people and some Celebrities, it has raised over £1m a month since then.

The message is simple, H4H does not seek to criticise or be political, they simply want to help and do so by asking anyone to do their best to raise money. Once that money is raised, H4H go to the experts in the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for guidance as to how best to spend it. It is H4H’s intention to spend all the monies raised on the practical, direct support of those wounded in the service of our country.

H4H give capped grants to those charities and groups best able to provide the facilities and services H4H want our Armed Services personnel to have and H4H work very closely with many existing Service Charities. H4H do not deliver individual benevolence, as that is the work of the existing charities.

H4H are working hard to raise more money and are passionate about what they are doing. It is needed, it is appreciated and H4H are making a real difference to the lives of some extraordinary men and women.
