As you all know, our daughter Blair underwent a heart transplant at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.  This was only possible because of the amazing work done by the doctors, nurses and all the staff there.  I am doing the Great North Run to raise money for the Children's Heart Unit Fund at the Freeman.  I couldn't begin to explain why CHUF are so vital to the patients and parents at the Freeman.  From providing play speciaists to helping fund vital equipment such as the Berlin Heart, because of CHUF kids have the best chance they possibly can in the worst circumstances.
