In February 2007 I was diagnosed as a coeliac, a genetic auto-immune disease that means my body is intolerant to all cereals and gluten, quite ironic as we live on an arable farm. I have learnt to cope with the change of diet but have decided this year I would like to raise some money to help the research into coeliac disease and what can be done to help sufferers. On May 15th we walked 10k across the South Downs in just over 2 hours, which was a fantastic effort, especially for Fergus who dug deep to keep up with us all.
