This has been set up by the Mary Seacole Memorial Statue Appeal in response to the many individuals and organisations who wish to a) make a regular annual donation and b) receive updates about the progress of the Appeal, including an e-newsletter. To become a Friend we ask that you donate a minimum of £20 per year. When you tick for GiftAid it will bring that up to £25!! The Appeal has already raised over £100,000 but still needs just under £400,000. On this page we would like our Friends to aim for an initial target of £1,000 [i.e. just 50 people becoming a Friend!] and once this figure is reached we will then set a higher target!
