We help veterans and their families to live the life they deserve after service

Story

On the 23rd June 2010 Douglas Halliday, Alex Isaac, Bobby Horton and Dave Ramsden were tragically taken from us whilst serving in Afghanistan

We share our grief and pain at the loss of these heroic men and many more who have lost their lives in action

At this moment in time there are men and women fighting for me, you and people all over the world

They give the ultimate sacrifice!

As a mark of respect this walk is in memory of Dougie, Alex, Bobby and Dave, all of the fallen soldiers and also to raise awareness for those injured and serving past and present

The walk will take place on Sunday 19th September, it will start at 09:00 at Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Wirral

The Walk follows the Wirral coastline from Seacombe Ferry on the River Mersey to Thurstaston Country on the River Dee, a distance of 15 miles.

We ask you to be at the start point at approx 08:30 to register for this event

Once registered, you will be given a map which will show the route,  marshall points,(marshalls will be located at each mile of the walk), and a contact number in the event of an emergency

We ask you to provide your own refreshments and wear suitable footwear

If you wish to take part in this walk or be involved in any way please contact Helen Fisher through facebook or 07810003227 to register your attendance and to obtain a sponsorship form

Respect to the soldiers - Let’s make them proud !!

sis jusuis nec timeas – be brave and fear not

Dougie was deeply loved by all of his family and friends for the love and laughter that he brought into their lives. We are all extremely privileged to have shared his short life.

He was just 20 years old from Rock Ferry, Wirral and serving in his first tour of Afghanistan under the Merican 1 Regiment

We remember Dougie for his charm, the special times together and his humour. He will never be forgotten.

At this sad time we also send our condolences to the families of his comrades who also gave their lives so that we may live in freedom.

Please support our troops!!

He did us all proud and lived by the family motto; Sis Justus nec timeas - be just and fear not.

We love you Doug, you will live on forever through us xxxx
