Thanks for taking the time to visit the GBHT2 Lands End to Oxford JustGiving page.
Last year we went on a cycle ride in memory of our friend Gareth Butler, and to raise money for the Trust set up in his memory. As history was one of Gary's great passions, the Trust helps disadvantaged children to take history trips. To find out more about the GBHT, have a look at the official blog at http://www.garethshistorytrust.blogspot.com/
For an account of last year's cycle ride from Bristol to Edinburgh, have a look at the website we set up, http://sites.google.com/site/gbhtbikeride/
This year, we covered another stretch of country, from Lands End to Oxford, where Gary and we grew up. We thought it would be about 300 miles; it ended up being 315 due to some map-reading difficulties, which we (well, some of us) did in three days. We'll put up an account of this year's ride online just as soon as we've calculated the height of all those Cornish climbs.
