The Rainbow Centre is a wonderful Fareham-based national charity that supports people with motor impairment, children with Cerebral Palsy & adults with MS, Parkinson’s & those recovering from a stroke. Rainbow focus on what individuals are able to do in order to become active and happy individuals.

In 2009 I took the decision to run the 2012 Marathon des Sables. This is a 150 mile ultra marathon accross the Sahara. This is dubbed the "toughest footrace in the world" Having lost a dear friend to cancer and witnessed this disease impact on many other friends. I can't think of a more worthy charity than the Royal marsden cancer Campaign. Having also witnessed the wonderful work undertaken by the Rainbow Centre, I have personally been touched by the amazing work here. This centre literally does give a lifeline to parents and their children and I am proud to be working with them.
