Story

Hello!

Firstly, thanks for visiting my page.

In July this year I'll be climbing Kilimanjaro with my good friend Rhodri Bowen (he's Welsh, so hopefully his knowledge of mountains will help!).

I'm doing this to raise money for the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association, who offer support and advice to Officers and Soldiers who have served in the Gulf Wars (1990-1991 and 2003-2009), and who are serving in the current conflict in Afghanistan.

Importantly, this charity provides support for service personnel who suffer from mental illness (including PTSD) on their return from Operations.

Care for veterans' mental health is sorely underprovided, and it is only with fundraising such as this that any real improvements will be made.

Please take the time to donate even a little to this worthy cause.

Many many thanks

Kate

P.S. I'll let you know how the climb goes!
