Following on from our hugely successful race in 2014, we are back to stay up all night and game for those that have never had the ability to play games, or perhaps through injury or illness, have had that ability taken away.

Games are becoming a very important way of rehabilitating those less fortunate than us. They are an interactive medium and have shown much success in bringing happiness and progress to those who are unable to game.

Special Effect are a charity who give people that chance. Through some truly innovate ways, they are able to create controllers and inputs that allow people with varying degrees of disability, to be able play games and to some, this can have a truly incredible impact on their lives.

Gaming Nation UK raised around £800 last year, just slightly short of our £1000 target. However this year, thanks to some fantastic growth, we believe we can not only hit that target, but double it. 

Despite it involving sitting down and playing a racing game, this event will be extremely as most of us will likely have been awake for 36 hours or so by the time it is over. 

We will be racing at exactly the same time as the Le Mans 24 hour endurance race that takes place every year, so our challenge this year will be to match the pros!
