Dear all
Having discovered in recent years a bit of a penchant for cycling holidays, I thought it was time to actually do a little wheeling for a good cause. I have consequently signed up to cycle from London to Paris at the end of June and need you all to part with some hard earned cash to encourage me on my way. Day 1 with lots of scary hills will be a particular challenge, especially as I am apparently not permitted to get a cab if it all gets a bit tricky... Its about 300K in all and I promise not to spend any donations on champagne on my arrival in Paris!
My chosen charity is Breast Cancer Haven (link below) which provides a fantastic support system as well as invaluable expert advice. A very worthy cause I am sure you will agree.

Finally, and just to put this issue to rest given it is a point raised by a number of people, I will not be cycling on a static bike on the ferry - after 100ks, I think I will deserve a little rest!! Thanks to you all. Gaby
