2010 Edinburgh Marathon · 23 May 2010 ·

helping people with spinal injuries

Story

As some of you may know, myself, Robert McKay (aka Rab, but definately not Rob!) and Keith Wills will be running the Edinburgh marathon on the 23rd May.

It'll be the first marathon that any of us have attempted and if the training is anything to go by, it will be a struggle, but we're determined to get it finished in one piece and in as good a time as possible.

We've decided to run it on behalf of Spinal Injury Northern Ireland (www.spini.co.uk) which, as many of you will know, was setup by Peter Steele.

The charity specialises in "post hostpitalisation" rehabilitation for all ages. The aim is to provide individuals with support in social care and use of equipment for spinal injuries in their own area.

Please give generously to this great cause and I promise I'll repay your generousity with a pint/JaegerBomb when I see you next in London, or more likely, Diamonds!
