Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in the London2Brighton challenge which is a 100km (62miles) walk of which 2/3 is off road just to make it that bit harder, or should that be more enjoyable, not sure. I am raising money for Emmaus a charity which does amazing work giving homeless people the chance to get there lives back on track by providing a place to live and meaningful work. Any sponsorship money you can spare will help in all the great work the charity does so please give what you can as every pound will be greatly appreciated.
I'm sure this is going to be a hard challenge especially as I would like to finish well inside 24 hours, legs permitting. I may regret saying that come the 24th of May. My training may also include running the London Marathon , I say running, it will more likely be jogging walking and eventually crawling over the line. So if I run the marathon and you donate you'll be getting 2 events for the the price of 1 haha. I will know on the 30th March whether I'll be making the start line of the marathon. I will try and give updates every week on here with what i've done in the previous week and what new injuries I've picked up, theres usually at least one new one every week haha. Last weeks was a groin strain running for the bus. Fingers crossed that will be my last running injury. And just to give you peace of mind none of my injuries affect my walking so I'll definitely be fit for the London2Brighton Challenge.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Seriously though, thanks for looking at my page and hopefully reading the silliness I've got lined up for myself might make you donate just a few pounds to help out this amazing charity.
Thanks again
