What am I doing at 52 years of age - attempting to trek along Hadrians Wall,  80 plus miles, in 24 hours, with a team of equally 'not normal' buddies all on 25th June 2011

I need help - mentally physically and monetary

The monetary bit is easy All donations are going to BREAKAWAY - a charity that provides activity breaks for young people who have bowel and bladder disfunctions which give them challenges from birth to adulthood. One of my relatives and his mum, my cousin, have really benefitted from being able to talk to others about their issues and I had the chance to see how the older children give the confidence to younger ones at one of their recent meet ups. Please give any amount however small that will help this cause

The mental help I need may only be provided by strong medication but your encouragement and words of support or abuse for that matter might help

The physical help is more complicated. Does anyone know if this challenge is actually possible? If so, let us know how its done, cos so far the training is only proving how tough this challenge is going to be.

We will keep you posted as to how we get on -

A big Thank You to you all for donating
