Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My Storey...
I'm not a runner, in fact I hate running. But I am setting this challenge for myself because I want to give something back to the charity I've chosen.
I find writing this page emotional as its so close to my heart. Those close to me know that on Tuesday 17 November 2009 I lost my wonderful and very brave aunt, . Barb was only 67 years old and fought her cancer for 18 months. Barb never moaned, never wanted to burden you with her illness and throughout was brave and took everything that was thrown at her in her stride. I, along with all my family, loved her deeply and will miss her greatly.
Darron, my husband, and I also lost Darron's Dad Colin on Friday 20 November 2009 after a 17 month battle with bowel cancer. Colin was only 66 and he was determined not to give up and fought right to the end but unfortunately it was not meant to be. Colin passed away peacefully at home and will be missed by all that were close to him.
Unfortunately we all know of stories like this, some closer to us than others. All we can do is look after ourselves as best we can and raise money to help fight this evil disease.
Please give what you can whether its a £1.00 or £100.00 it all adds up and it all makes a difference. I thank you for every penny you give and hope that I manage to do everyone proud on Sunday 21 February 2010.
Remember to tick the Gift Aid Box so we have an extra 28p for each £1.00 given.
Thank you for reading my storey.
With love, health and happiness.

P.S. I'm donating to The Marlets and Darron is donating to the Bowel Cancer charity for Colin http://www.justgiving.com/Darron-Lloyd . Either way it goes to the cancer charities but please sponsor whoever you wish your money to go to, or split between both. Thanks again.
Target;
To jog continuiously for 13 miles on Sunday 21 February 2010. I am aiming to finish in about 2 hours/2 hours 15 mins.
