The children in Urvind have birthdays, everybody has a birthday. But how do you celebrate your birthday when you are facing the same struggle to survive on your birthday as you were the day before and you will the following day?

How, as a parent, do you buy a present, cake and candles to celebrate your childrens' birthdays, when there isn't enough money to buy food, clothes or complete the roof on the house you have built with your own bare hands?
