Genetic Disorders UK help change the lives of children and families affected by genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK. Jeans for Genes Day is our annual fundraising event on Friday 5th October 2012.

Genes. We see firsthand what a fantastic and worthwhile charity this is and we
wanted to go that extra mile (or 5km to be precise!) to make a even bigger
difference to the children and families affected by genetic disorders.
Especially in this current climate we really need your help so read on, be
inspired and PLEASE dig deep.
Who we are (and what we do) Jeans for Genes, the children’s charity that
raises money on Jeans for Genes Day to support families in the UK affected by
genetic disorders and to fund research into the causes, treatments and cures of
these disorders. In case
you think that genetic disorders are so rare as to be less important than other
conditions then I would like to give you just a few facts.
Why donate online? Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and
totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them
on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly
to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK
taxpayer. So it’s
