My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During our recent trip to Kenya we organised to meet with an amazing woman, Emily Odera. Her story touched us and we felt we wanted to help fundraise for the well being of the orphaned children and the widows who survived the violent attack on their village. The money donated is helping to pay for basic living and medical costs, as some of the children are ill and HIV +ve. Emily is also aiming at enabling the orphanage to become self sufficient by growing sugar canes, buying cattle and hens etc. You can read more of Emily's story by clicking on the link ...

We are planning a few events to hopefully raise some money for Ket Wangi orphanage. On June 11th we will climb Snowdon! If you are interested in joining us then please get in touch. If treking is'nt your thing, then any sponsors or direct donations to the orphanage using just giving would be very much appreciated.

We are also planning a Summer party with top DJs (Geoff and Adam) performing.. inflatable guitars for props will be available :) Date to be confirmed, but we will keep you posted!

Thankyou

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
