My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to undertake the London Triathlon for Sam Beare Hospice, the link between the two being Dave Scrutton who passed away in 2010.

Visit my beasting blog to find out how I'm getting on with training http://beastingblog.webplus.net/index.html

Dave was one of my bosses at Broadcast Services in 2003ish. He got me into cycling and running, a simple step to triathlon which he told me I'd be stupid not to try. He even contributed towards my hybrid bike which has been a bit of a work horse carrying my weight around the country at break neck speeds. He was encouraging, fun and generous so I'm keen to honour his memory.

I'll let you know how my training is going, I haven't undertaken a triathlon since the Vitruvian Half Ironman about 2 years ago and have a lot of spare weight I need to lose.

Oh, and if you see me eating cake please use reasonable force to stop me.
