My story

Angus Rowland was a close friend of mine. We grew up together at the same primary school and spent time together camping and skiing and with lots of other great memories.

Angus was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid leukaemia in October 2010. Despite 3 courses of chemotherapy his leukaemia would not go into remission and he died on May 26th 2011 at home aged 14 and a half.

He was brave and full of life and it is difficult to believe that he is no longer here. I wanted to do something to help and decided I would remember Angus by raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and run the Brighton marathon.

Please support me in making a difference and to help find treatments for leukaemia and save lives. It is too late for Angus but it will help others in the future.
