I will be Swimming the Swimathon triple 5km event with a twist. I have decided to book this to make amends after saying I would complete a 5km swim with my sister over the weekend and then realising I had double booked. 

I Intend to complete a 5km non-stop swim 3 times over (Morning, Lunchtime and Evening swim) whilst at RAF Honington the day before the actual challenge weekend. Over the weekend 21,000 swimmers will be heading down to over 600 pools across the UK to raise money for the two amazing charity partners.

First one being Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity is dedicated to saving lives through funding research to help prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Cancer Research UK are the only charity fighting over 200 cancer types but don't receive any government funding for their work.

Second charity partner is Marie Curie who provides expert care, guidance and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Around 2,100 Marie Curie Nurses work day and night, in people’s homes all over the UK, providing hands-on care to people when they need it most.

You unfortunately do not need to look very far to be able to see the lives that these charity's have positively influenced and I would love to see people continue to support them through this page.
