My story

 

Dear All,

Beatrix and I are donning our running shoes in aid of a cause very close to our hearts.  My mother, her grandmother, suffers from severe arthritis and is involved in a fantastic local charity the Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust.  This charity does valuable work raising money for research projects and for the highly technical equipment used by orthopedic surgeons in hospitals in the county treating people with arthritis.  It also supports physiotherapists and provides the necessary equipment to help individuals gain better mobility and pain relief. 

 It has just celebrated its 25th anniversary.  It is run by a very small team so every penny raised really does help people with this painful and debilitating disease. I do hope you will sponsor us both, we are going to be running/pushing for 5k and very much hope to raise £1000.
