Success! after very tough two days with lots of highs and lows, both in altitude and energy levels, we finally made it to Cardiff at 7:45 on Sunday evening. A big thank you to everyone who has sponsored us, I think we definitely worked for it. Now time for a hot bath.
Llwyddiant! Ar ôl deuddydd anodd, llawn uchafbwyntiau ac isel bwyntiau, yn nhermau mynyddoedd ac egni, cyrhaeddon ni yng Nghaerdydd am 7:45 ar nos Sul. Diolch yn fawr i bawb sydd wedi noddi ni, yn bendant wnaethon ni weithio amdani. Amser nawr am fath twym.
Gethin Edwards and Andrew McDonagh are planning
to mountain bike from Caernarvon to Cardiff in two days on the 17th and 18th of
October. The plan is to use the national cycle network Wales which
consists of forest tracks and mountain trails stretching the whole way across
Wales. We plan to cycle 95 miles on the first day to Devil's Bridge near
Aberystwyth where we will camp, we will then make the final slog of 110 miles
to Cardiff on the second day. If all goes well we should arrive in
Cardiff Bay by Sunday evening. So please dig deep and donate to the
charity we have chosen which is Hafal. Please read more about Hafal at the left of this page.
Mae Gethin Edwards ac Andrew McDonagh yn dymuno beicio
mynydd o Gaernarfon i Gaerdydd mewn dau ddiwrnod ar 17 a 18 Hydref. Y
cynllun yw defnyddio rhwydwaith beicio cenedlaethol Cymru sydd yn cynnwys
lonydd coedwigol a llwybrau mynyddig yn ymestyn ledled Cymru. Rydym yn
dymuno seiclo 95 milltir ar y diwrnod cyntaf i Bontarfynach ger Aberystwyth er
mwyn gwersylla, byddwn wedyn yn anelu at gyflawni'r 110 milltir olaf i Gaerdydd
ar yr ail ddiwrnod. Os yw pob dim yn mynd yn dda byddwn yn cyrraedd Bai
Caerdydd erbyn nos sul. Byddwn yn ddiolchgar iawn os wnewch chi gyfrannu
at yr elusen rydym wedi dewis sef Hafal. Darllenwch mwy am Hafal ar ochr chwith y tudalen.
