My story
TILE GIANT SUPPORTING DONNA LOUISE
Help the team! From 2nd June Nick Rose, Mark Finbow, Matt Hollinshead, Mike Hughes and Adam Beebee are setting off on a fundraising bikeathon to help support the Donna Louise Trust. Starting at Portsmouth they will endure a 700 mile trip to the finish line in Edinburgh, calling in at 30 stores enroute.
The team consists of:
Jim Carpenter - 'Roadie' JC will be lending his vocal support in the Tile Giant van
Mark Finbow - A lean RD of all the southern stores, Mark is powered by witty sarcasm and the thought of his kids making donations from his phone.
Matt Hollinshead - If he is not sleeping he is eating, and when he is not doing either there is something wrong! Another lean cyclist with hollow legs.
Michael Hughes - The nightclub enthusiast from Burnley, Mike is always involved in funding for the Donna Louise Trust having recently supported a colleague in a 'Baked Bean Bath Challenge'
Nick Rose - The OD of Tile Giant, there's not much that gets past this gym fanatic, other than a cheeky chicken burger!!!
Adam Beebee - already a nearly professional cyclist from the Cannock store

Day 2 - Croydon, Brixton, Dulwich, Old Kent Road, Romford, Harlow
Day 3 - Harlow, Luton, MK, Brackmills, Northampton, DPD
Day 4 - DPD, Leicester, Burton, Donna Louise, Longton, Stoke
Day 5 - Stoke, Macclesfield, Ashton, Oldham, Rochdale, Halifax, Shipley
Day 6 - Shipley, Durham
Day 7 - Durham, Gateshead
Day 8 - Gateshead, Edinburgh

<b>The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust</b> provides respite for children with life threatening conditions and support for the whole family at the hospice and in their own home. Our hospice called Treetops, is based in Trentham, on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent. Here we provide respite and end of life care for children from all over Staffordshire and South Cheshire that are between the ages of 0 and 19 years and have a life-threatening illness. We provide a safe, caring environment where children and families can truly feel at home. <p> A community nursing team provide respite and end of life care to children and families within their own homes. <p> Currently the Trust cares for 160 children from South Cheshire and Staffordshire. Its annual running costs of £2 million are obtained mainly from public donations. </p>
