We are raising money on behalf of the Uganda Polio Project. In June a team of Orthotists, Orthotic Tecnicians, Physios, OT's, and Researchers from the University of Nottingham are going out to the Mulaga Hospital in Kampala, Uganda. We are aiming to treat patient with polio with a donated orthoses that we have collected over the last six months with the help of all the Orthotic departments in the UK. The container was packed full and shipped off on 16th March to meet us in Uganda! The donations will be used to help cover costs and puchase equipment to allow us to treat as many patients as possible.

Tough Mudder!

Julie and I are going to run Toughmudder with a team of clinicians. Toughmudder is primarily a 12 mile run with a few obstacles along the way... We have signed up to be dunked in ice cold water, climb huge walls, crawl through mud, be electrocuted, leap into a river etc etc! You get the idea but don't forget that Jules has never done anything like this before and is more that a little nervous! Please just give us a few quid to gee her along she really is a trooper!
