I will be running Stormont this Sunday 4th October in aid of Aware Defeat Depression. This is the only charity dedicated to supporting the 1 in 4 people in Northern Ireland who are affected by depression or bipolar disorder (manic depression). Aware have an established network of over twenty five support groups in rural and urban areas across the country, which are run by trained volunteers working exclusively with and for people with depression.
This is in memory of my dad who passed away suddenly at the tender age of 49.
