This year we're running the Royal Parks half marathon (11 October for those that want to cheer us on) in aid of the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary.

If you're like us you probably have all sorts of sentimental memories of beach donkeys with their cute little faces and sweet mannerisms. However, the real life experiences of donkeys in this country tends to be a little less charming, with unbearable suffering and cruelty often being an everyday experience.

This charity runs entirely on donations and looks to alleviate the condition of donkeys in this country, they also give advice to people and organisations overseas working with donkeys.
