York have had to put back the time of the race until 5.45pm as the ground is likely to be very soft. I am now riding Praxios for Noel Wilson who rode a lot of point to point winners for us. Too late for getting fitter - so going for the freshening up theory!!
Two weeks to go! I cannot believe how generous everyone has been and as you can see I have raised far more than my target. We have a training day at York on Friday with Kevin Darley who is going to walk the course with us and give advise on the equiscisor.HELP!!
I can't thank you all enough for your donations - so far you have raised more than my target of £2500. Now all I have to do is keep up the fitness programme[riding out and the exercise bike] so that I do not let you down!!
Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped me to raise more that my target of £2500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. I hope to raise even more for this great cause and then do my best for everyone in the race at York!!
So far I have nearly half of my target, I have made biscuits for Gill Maddison's hairdressing customers[in return for a donation!]. The next idea is to raffle a magnum of champagne, but hopefully the owners will come up trumps!
