Hello and thank you for visiting my charity site.
I have just returned from the week's Trek to Petra, hiking through the stony Jordanian desert, It was amazing, beautiful, uplifting - and physically tough!
We camped under canvas in the rocky wilderness and pushed ourselves to the limit - it was a hot and dusty physical challenge. Find out more on my website, www.muddyarchaeologist.co.uk
Please support my efforts and the therapy sessions funded by Classic FM Foundation by kindly donating.
This page will stay open for a few weeks, so please let's keep it up and give Classic fm Foundation (the new identity of Music Makers) an even more amazing sum! Book me for an illustrated talk and share the experience of a lifetime - you can contact me on gillian@muddyarchaeologist.co.uk
The Classic fm Foundation (previously Music Makers) is a UK based charity designed to improve lives through the power of music: they provide music therapy opportunities for young & old across the country. Participating in music activities has so many benefits - my daughter benefitted hugely from a music session while she was in Great Ormond Street Hospital when she was just five years old - it raises spirits, reduces anxiety, provides social interaction for isolated people, and an opportunity to communicate without words: if you've watched a disabled child laugh as they play music themselves you'll know it makes a difference!
Please continue to dig deep and donate now.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please note that the admin percentage of monies raised was kindly donated by a family member and all the money you donate will go straight to charitable works, so please give generously.
