We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Through our websites, www.real-whitby.co.uk and www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk, we intend to raise money for our favourite charity The RNLI. Through time we will run a series of fundraising events. We also aim to sell local photographs from both websites. People can pay for the pictures using this page and I will then forward their photographs to them. Please stay tuned for further news.

Offline Donations

Our first event in 2010 was a forum members fishing match held on the 21st November 2010. We raised £75 for the RNLI through this match. The money was passed to Whitby RNLI through forum member and rnli volunteer Ben Laws.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
