We wanted to have the holiday of a lifetime and as we're both mad on mountains we decided to go for the best and do the highest stand alone mountain in the world - Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Originally, as we were covering all costs ourselves, we weren't going to use this as a fundraiser. But then when we came in contact with Anne Cameron, who had recently lost her young son Ricky who tragically died a month before his 17th birthday, we thought we'd do this challenge in memory of Ricky and raise money for Sue Ryder Care - Wheatfields Hospice.

Wheatfields Hospice do great work in looking after people with complex conditions such as cancer and MS. All donations will go to the hospice because we are self funding. Please dig deep and give generously to this great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
