Hi everyone and thank you for visiting my page,

My name is Gordon Bullock, Managing Director and owner of Redbridge Lakes Nature Conservation Centre, in Woodford Green, Essex.

I have always kept fit and have been a keen angler since I was a small boy. Having grown up, fished and lived around the Thames all of my life, for some years now, it has been my ambition to go on a solo Kayak/Fishing Expedition along this great River.

I will be travelling approximately 135 miles of the Thames with 45 locks to navigate through, which should take me around 10 days to cover. At each lock, I will be stopping to catch some fish.

I will be departing on 16th June and will hopefully be finished by 27th June in time for the match at Redbridge Lakes.

I will be videoing the trip and posting my video diary on both our facebook page and website.
