Back in May 2009, after just completing a 24 hour off road charity endurance race and only doing 2 laps because i was so unfit, i realised it was time to get fit so i asked my work (The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charity) for a marathon place!!! Well, six months down the line and here we are, i've lost 3 stone and the trainings going well, although i've had a few weeks without doing training, overall it's progressing nicely.
So, i'm doing my bit, now it's time to do yours, please please please sponsor me, any amount will help and let's face it, every single one of us MAY one day need this life saving service and the only way it will continue to fly is by the generosity of the public, the Goverment and National Lottery provide no funding to the Air Ambulance, it's up to US to keep it flying!!!!
