Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm just one of a motley bunch of blokes who will dress up in dodgy, "near-naked" cycling costumes to ride 500 miles in 7 days.
We're doing it to raise awareness of male cancers with the message that "early detection saves lives". The costumes are a reference to the deadly problem of men's embarrassment about their bodies, their irrational avoidance of doctors and the macho nonsense that prevents them from talking about problems, illnesses and fears.
The event starts in Newcastle and we'll ride the width of England, across the Scottish border and into Stranraer before catching a boat to Belfast and cycling through Enniskillen, Sligo and down to Galway.
Your funds will be greatly appreciated and put to good use as we build this event from a fledgling idea into a must-do annual event for people of all shapes, ages and colours to help raise awareness of male cancers in men, wherever and whomever they are.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now - thank you and wish us luck!
