Thanks for checking out the Guildford Gymnastics Club 'Flair Gymnastics 'Surrey Half Marathon' Charity Page.

We set ourselves this goal at the beginning of 2014 at the same time as setting many of our 2014 club goals and coaching lesson plans to help develop each members gymnastic journey at their Flair Gym Club this year. 

As coaches our BIG new years resolution is to ‘stay fit and healthy’ throughout 2014.... with the challenge of running at the ‘Surrey Half Marathon,’ from Guildford Spectrum to Woking and back on Sunday 9th March.

Sam Archer is leading the team as she is an experienced marathon runner and she has egged on other Flair Gym coaches to join in with her. Taking part are Coach Charlotte, Coach Tom, Coach Victoria and Coach Imogen and I’m going to go for it too. I have even managed to persuade my brother Andy Dwyer to take part. Go for it bro!!

 

We’ve all been supporting each other during our training and we are sending out this open invitation to come along and show your support for your coaches on Sunday 9th March (this weekend).... It’s going to be a fun day out with lots of excitement and buzz around route with stalls and cafes in the event village at Guildford Spectrum too.

As a team we are supporting the charity of the Eagle Radio Trust which supports local causes in Surrey and Hampshire. The money goes towards things like school equipment, small local projects and good causes, and has included past donations to Woking 'First Responders' and 'Worplesdon primary school'. It gives help to local people and children in your community.
