I'm raising money for Wishes 4 Kids which is the chosen charity for British Gas' National Distribution Centre.  Based in Leicester, Wishes 4 Kids grant wishes for local children and youngsters (under 18s) who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed HIV positive.  They were set up in 2002 and since then have granted more than 5000 wishes.  A great charity and a very worthy cause.  The target is £350 for this event - every little helps and the more we can raise the better. 

The jump will be from 13k feet (conditions dependent), and we'll fall at about 120mph.  At about 5k feet the instructor pulls the parachute at which point we are supposed to glide until we land softly and gently on the ground.  That's what they tell me anyway.

Ah well - the page is made and the t-shirt's arrived so there's really no backing out now.
