On 2nd November, together with a group of five (semi) willing volunteers, I will be taking part in a 10-hour non-stop karaoke marathon.
All the money we raise is going towards Serenity Foundation. As many of you know, Iset this charity up to try and tackle some of theproblems afflicting the youth in the township. Our long term aim is to build an orphanage, though we are also runing a number of other projects, such as a school fees grant system where we pay the children's school fees directly to enable them to stay in schoool and gain an education and keep them off the streets. These fees are tiny to us (around £10/month), and yet they are crippling to the families living in the township. I have included photos of a couple of the kids above.
