Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be raising money for a very worthwhile charity- Kirkwood Hospice in Huddersfield who provide specialist care for those people in Kirklees facing life-threatening illness.

They respect individual needs and wishes caring for the whole person to help them achieve the best possible quality of life. Families, friends and carers are offered additional support and help during the illness and in bereavement.

Kirkwood needs to raise over £3 Million in voluntary donations every year for it to mainitain services, so need every bit of help they can get.

Those of you who know me well will be aware that I like to enjoy my food and drink, and I could do with losing a few kilos of flab, so I have set myself the challenge of losing 10kgs (approx 22 pounds) between Monday 15th February and 31st May.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
