My story
Thank you to everyone who sponsored me. The bike ride was a great success. I cycled the 100 km over three days and was able to visit several communities where Tearfund's partners are working to address local problems - such as cyclones, flooding and salination. My injured back held out, we managed to find quiet country roads, and we were received enthusiastically wherever we went. Apart from sunburn, and a certain amount of tiredness, the event was great fun. It also gave our partners the opportunity to raise the profile of their projects with local government officials, several of whom we met en route.
So thank you for supporting me. I hope to upload a video of the bike ride shortly.
