Hello everyone! On May 2nd 2011 I will be heading off to Goodison Park for a very different day out than my usual Saturday afternoon at the football! With Juicy Lucy waiting below to catch me if I fall, I will be flying across Goodison Park on a zipslide, all in the name of charity. It is quite likely that my screams will be heard miles around and it is quite probable that I will make a bit of a plonker of myself, as usually happens. Luckily, Lucy will be there to document the occasion for you all to see.

You all know how passionate I am about Everton, and I am so happy to be doing something linked to my wonderful football club. Dont worry - I am not raising money to buy us a new striker!!! The money raised will go to an excellent cause that partners with a large number of local and national charities. Everton in the Community is a fantastic charity, that uses sport to raise money for local charities promoting inclusion and equality all across the country. Some of the projects they are involved in include:

Kickz, a national initiative that aims to promote respect in communities through sport, particularly in areas with higher crime rates.

Working with Alder Hey Children's Hospital to bring fun activities that promote health to children who are in hospital that wouldnt otherwise be able to access such activities.

Imagine Your Goals: promoting good mental through sport, training and education for individuals who have experienced difficulties.
