My story

12 young people a week lose their lives to sudden cardiac arrest according to official statistics published by the government.

Unfortunately 80% of those young people that die have had no symptoms.

Hand On Heart was set up to stop this from happening. We provide  Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), partially or fully funded and CPR training to schools across the UK. In 2011, we gave out two AEDs a month to schools who had been nominated for our campaign. Now we are looking to expand that to 10 AEDs a month, but we need your support!

We believe our campaign is unique in the UK and we hope it will grow immensely over the next few years. In January 2012 we achieved full charity status (Registration Number 1145316) further demonstrating our commitment to the long term goals of our campaign.

But we do need your support, please help us raise as much money as possible so that we can donate as many defibrillators to as many schools as possible across the UK.
