An update on my progress so far:

I am now up to 33 miles a day - first one today in 2 hours and 12 minutes.  The big day is 2 weeks tomorrow (Sun 16th Sept) so wish me luck.

My start time is 8.05am from Buck Palace and I hope to do the distance in around 3 hours.  However, I don't know the terrain.  I am actually beginning to enjoy the sessions and intend to keep it up after the day.

Had a ride on a top-of-the-range £2,200 bike the other day - wow!  Dream on!
