I did it!!! Thank you for all the support over the last 4 months, training and commuting during the snow in January and February was hard work and it was the sponsorship and knowing I was doing this for such a good cause that made me keep at it! It was worth every minute of the run. I enjoyed myself so much! I definitely wont forget my 29th birthday! The atmosphere was electric, the crowd and my army of supporters kept me going. Although there were tears when I crossed the finish line in 5 hrs 15 mins, I am looking forward to getting 4.40 next year!!! I finished just behind the Caterpillar and overtook Ricky Whittle! Running over Tower Bridge and down The Mall was unforgettable.
My legs are feeling a little bit heavy but I don't feel as sore as I was expecting to.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The hard part of the training is now over!! I completed the Oakley 20 miles on Sunday, its a massive relief now that distance is under my belt! I completed the run in 3.33 mins, average pace was a little slower than the MK and Silverstone Half Marathons which i completed in 2.06 and 2.04 but my right leg has been very painful over the last couple of weeks so decided just to take it slowly and get the miles done! I never realised Bedfordshire was so hilly!!
Many thanks again for visitng my page!
