I know, it's hard to believe that I am doing this and hence I needed a good cause to get myself back in training again. I decided that raising some money towards local charity and school would be good one to keep me motivated.
The Link Day School
The charity operates a primary school for 40 pupils and a secondary school for 48 pupils in South London. All the pupils have speech, language and communication difficulties, and many are also on the autistic spectrum. The schools have small classes of 8 and the pupils thrive in an environment where they are encouraged, motivated and supported in a safe and caring environment. As well as following the full national curriculum, individually tailored to each pupil’s needs, the schools also offer intensive speech therapy to all, and also music therapy, drama therapy and occupational therapy.
