My name is Harley Jade and I've suffered with agoraphobia, severe panic attacks and depression for over 5years. I'm 18 and have spent most of these years trying to get better, with help from the mental health system. Before I became unwell I never knew a thing about the help those need and recieve. Myself and my mother had to really fight for the help I've had over the years and it opened my eyes to the fact that there isn't enough help out there for children/teenagers and adults who suffer with mental illness'.
On the outside I look normal, but I find it extremely hard to leave my own home. I am still recieving some help with my problems, I just wish I had had this type of help many years ago before it all got out of hand. I hope by doing this that others become aware of the struggles myself and many others go through. We are all normal people just trying to get the help we deserve to live a normal life.
